Tait is Sweet!

So, back in June, our ministry put on the blitzfest, a 2 day music festival. Well, one of the bands that our team was not too excited to see was Tait. Well, foohey on us. Tait ended up being the best band. Not only did he rock. He was the nicest the guy. Of all the bands we had, he was the best. Here he is signing my brothers pink cast. Now that's a story in itself. James is somewhat of a super hero. He broke his wrist by saving kittens that were in a burning house, or he hit a door. It was funny.

Beautiful

Words cannot describe how beautiful Rebekah Sue is. I believe this little girl has an amazing call on her life. Already at 5 she is so loving. Well, she is beautiful.

Thankful

I am so thankful. As I type this, I am watching my family run around the living room, and I am so thankful for them. Bekah, Bobby and Zach are electric. They are so much fun and I am so blessed to be there dad. My wife is in the kitchen making food for this foodfest kind of day and I am so thankful for her. My youngest son has a disease called PKU and my wife has become an expert in PKU. She is awesome. I am so thankful for my parents. Soon we will head over to there house and I can't wait to sit and talk with them. One of my favorite childhood memories is just sitting at the table after dinner and talking. I am so thankful for my brother. I love him to death. I think he is one of the most talented and intelligent people I know. I am so thankful for my wife's family. I am so blessed to have a mother and father n law who I love. They are incredible people and I blessed to be a part of their lives.

I am so thankful for my closest friends. Tom & Kara, Aaron & Mandy, Josh & Michelle, Joe & Jaci, Jason & Jessica, Mark & Laura, Johnny & Jamie. For Stefanie, Zack, Bob, Josh, Dave, Todd, Bruce, Rod, Tim, and so many more.

I am so thankful for a loving God who would love someone like me. It blows my mind. Sometimes I have a hard time understanding how he could love me, but He does and I am so thankful.

I am so thankful.

The Land Flowing with Milk and $7 cheesburgers

What a fantastic couple of days. It has been Electric! I have done the math and the equasion is electrocity. The Project311 team is in Nashville for the Youth Specialties National Youth Workers Convention and we are LOVING IT! You cannot go wrong worshipping with 8000 youth workers, it is incredible. David Crowder Band is electric. What I love the most about these guys is their humility.

Our team: Jason, Tracie, Aaron, James, Tom, Kara and Jason & Jessica came down on Thursday and we got here about 430pm. Tracie and I got our room all taken care of, by the way, we don't have the kids. It's weird. I mean we were a little worried about leaving them at home, but in the end, we were pretty sure our chox lab could take care of them. Anyways, we had dinner with a great friend. He blessed us, cared for us and encouraged us. He also took care of my registration cost for the convention, what a BLESSING.

We then hung out with the team and checked out Nashvegas. It's amazing to see how massive the youth ministry industry is. We walked around the exhibit hall and had a chance to connect with many old friends. What a great couple of days. Reconnecting with God, being refreshed, and spending a lot of great time with my beautiful wife.

Good-bye old friend

I met this friend about a year ago and to be honest, we hit it off pretty well. I mean, for the most part we were attached in ways no other friend has ever been attached to me. This friend was always there for me, there for a good talk and definately a good rub down. Well, my wife, as wonderful as all get out, finally convinced me that maybe this was the wrong kind of friend and I finally decided she was right.

Well, last week I had this friend removed from my life. This friends name, well, I call him my "Third Nipple". Now, he appeared about right under my left man breast and stayed there getting bigger and more tender for some time. So, my doctor said let's take it out. Wow, I said. I mean we take out keys from our pocket, this was a third nipple, that was under my skin. The big problem with all this is I am the world's biggest panzy. My wife has the pain tolerance of a donkey on steroids, me, I just don't.

So, I went it. I sucked it up. I showed that nipple who was the boss. Turns out it wasn't a third nipple. It was a "mass". Now, I am not sure what a "mass" is, but I didn't like how that sounded. My doctor dumbed me up or numbed me up or something, cut me, and took my friend out. It was a lot bigger than she thought, ended up being like the size of a big phat grape. Needless to say, it hurt like a mother and now I have had stiches for about a week. Which is a bummer, cuz my favorite thing to do is sit in my wonderful, luxorious hot tub. Well, all this to say, I find out if it was anything this Wednesday. They sent it to the lab for tests. She said it didn't look serious, just like a friend that had grown attached.

Here we go

What a ride life is. I mean, the ups and downs, the turns, the roadblocks, the hurdles, the low point's, the high points and all that is in between. Well, I finally jumped on the blog band wagon. Should be a crazy ride, because you know...Life is Electric, you do the math.
